Is Mensa that bad?

The opinions on Mensa differ widely. Of course it is not good if admission tests leak. An association itself that creates a divide might raise a lot of questions. Especially when depending on dubious criteria.

It all depends on the culture and norms in the group. For instance, it would be quite dumb with double-standards, not recognizing higher intelligence levels than what is required for Mensa. As an organization, Mensa has a clear purpose. It would go against.

And then again, ignorance is bliss at whatever level. So there are similarities across the board. Yet to be found is a club where the culture and norms treat both members and non-members with the level of respect each individual want.

With growing numbers, that is not an easy task.
